Daydreamer Lace Scarf.

A free, simple 1 row lace stitch scarf. It's reversible too.

This pattern is ideal for using up a skein or 2 of luxury, light weight yarn.

Finished size: 16cm x 150cm.

Materials.

5mm knitting needles

2 x 84m/50gm ball 4-ply yarn.

Scarf shown used 2 balls of Gemstone 4-ply in shade Red Jasper. 76% Viscose, 22% Superkid Mohair, 2% Fine wool.

Cast On

Cast on 36 stitches.

As a perfectionist, I used the crochet cast on so it will match the cast off. The cable cast on would also work well.

Garter Stitch Edge

Knit 2 rows.

Main Pattern

K3, *K1, yo, K2tog**, repeat from * to ** until last 3 stitches, K3.

Repeat until scarf is desired length or you've nearly run out of yarn!

Cast off & Finishing

Cast off loosely.

Block: Pin out the damp scarf, stretching it slightly width wise to open up the lace. Allow to dry.
